This collaboration opens the door for South African crew to enter one of the most exciting and exclusive sectors in the marine industry: submarine piloting.

We’re now looking to recruit a select group of ambitious, technically minded maritime professionals to train as certified submarine pilots and join the U-Boat Worx Field Operations Team. This is a rare opportunity to take your yachting or marine career to new depths — quite literally.
U-Boat Worx has developed the world’s leading submersible pilot training program. Internationally recognised for its combination of rigorous theory and practical, hands-on learning, the program produces highly skilled pilots ready to operate in real-world conditions.
Successful candidates will be placed on board luxury motor yachts and expedition vessels as part of the U-Boat Worx Field Operations Team following the completion of training.
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong maritime background
- Diving experience is a major advantage
- Technically skilled and hands-on
- Over 24, fit, and able to travel internationally
- Must have (or be willing to obtain): STCW, VHF, RYA PB2, and Seafarer’s Medical
Support will be provided for certification and preparation as needed.
